DStar Gateway computer went down Thursday afternoon
due to a power failure. Power was down for over an hour
and the backup battery failed after about 40 minutes.
Computer was restored late this morning and all appears
functional once again. Thanks goes to Dennis VE6BGZ for
the heads up.

UPDATED
A couple of calls have been updated but time is running
out. I will
be purging the old database on VE6WRN soon and the calls that
are not updated will probably not work for gateway access soon
thereafter.
I know the following have not been updated: VE6PWT,
VA6EJS, VE6IBM, VE6QLT, VE6WTT, VA6EMS, VY1BAT.
To continue working DSTAR it is best you update your
profile. See Dec.4 updates for more information.
Apr.03.16 VE6WRT DStar repeater module C on
Hailstone Butte (West of Chain Lakes) was turned on today for
the Summer months. Voltages are very good at the
site. Note that this repeater is a stand-alone and is
not linked to any gateways. We do hope to visit the site
sometime this summer for further upgrades.

I like to thank AltaLink for giving us access to the
repeater site (VE6RPT) so quickly for us to effect
repairs. Mike VE6AMC and Dale VE6CPK attended the site
early this morning and got the repeater back on the air.
Also like to thank Andrew VE6EN for letting us know that there
was an issue (as always the sooner we know there is an
issue the better) and Dennis VE6BGZ also
Pierre/Kate VE6PTE/VE6KTE for helping us do some testing while
at the site. I also received a few emails letting us
know the situation as well. Thanks all.

Note
that VE6RPT-VHF is locked in TX mode.
It will not repeat any analog/digital transmission making the
output frequency unuseable. We are looking into it
however with limited access it may take a few days. I
will update when I know more.
